Quenedit Ballet School is grounded in the expertise, professionalism, and passion of its artistic faculty and administrative staff. Our students receive exceptional training in dance technique, style, theory, and discipline, all within a supportive and inclusive environment. Every instructor is committed to treating students with equal care, encouraging self-confidence through personal growth and accomplishment.

Our faculty members bring professional experience, unwavering dedication, and a deep love for dance. Quenedit Ballet School also supports its staff through ongoing education, offering monthly workshops focused on curriculum, teaching methods, and child development—ensuring our team continues to grow alongside our dancers.

Abcde Bannister began ballet at age two and joined Quenedit Ballet School’s pre-professional program at fourteen. She has performed lead roles with the San Antonio Dance Company in productions like The Nutcracker and Don Quijote.

A scholarship recipient at competitions like YAGP and UBC, she continues training at QBS while pursuing a full-time college education. Since 2023, Abcde has been teaching at QBS, sharing her passion for dance with the next generation.

Giselle Fox, born in Havana, Cuba, trained at the National Ballet School of Cuba and graduated in 2002 as a dancer and teacher. She danced with the National Ballet of Cuba and later joined Ballet de Monterrey, performing in classics like Giselle and Swan Lake.

She has choreographed and taught in Cuba, Mexico, and the U.S., preparing students for top competitions like YAGP. Since moving to San Antonio in 2013, she has taught at several leading dance schools and served as Ballet Mistress for Ballet Latino San Antonio.

Carolina Jiménez began dancing at age two in Saltillo, Mexico, training in jazz and ballet. After moving to San Antonio at eight, she joined Quenedit Ballet School under Mrs. Catalina Garza and Mr. Ernesto Quenedit, expanding her training to include modern and hip-hop. She performed in over 15 productions, with favorites like The Nutcracker, Fairy Doll, and Sleeping Beauty. At 16, she began teaching under Mrs. Garza’s mentorship and has been a ballet, jazz, and hip-hop instructor at Quenedit since 2019. Carolina also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor’s in Multidisciplinary Studies from UTSA and UT Health, and now works as an ICU registered nurse.

Kevin Brewster Instructor – Breakdance and Hip Hop “Dancing is my spiritual outlet. My dance style is Breakin'(breakdancing) I use it to get through the rough times in my life. I also use my talents teach others. Their joy for the art form enriches my life. In the future I hope to spread my knowledge of dance to underserved areas of the world.”

Ana Quenedit – Ballet, Character, Rhythmic Dance Fusion
Ana Quenedit, from Havana, Cuba, graduated from the National School of Art and performed with top companies across Latin America. Since 2015, she has focused on teaching and choreography, with students earning international awards. Certified in PBT, Neuroeducation, and more, Ana has taught at Quenedit Ballet School for the past three years alongside her husband, Pedro, while raising their son, Gabrielle.

Gabrielle Stamm Llambiri – Jazz Instructor
Gabrielle began dancing at age three and earned a BA in Dance from Dean College. She trained at prestigious programs like Alvin Ailey and Joffrey Ballet and studied at top NYC studios including Mark Morris, Peridance, and Broadway Dance Center.

She has performed with various companies and taught at respected studios like 92Y. Now based in Texas, Gabrielle shares her passion at QBS, inspiring students to express joy, emotion, and connection through dance.

Pedro Vega – Ballet Instructor
Pedro Vega trained at the National School of Art in Havana, Cuba, and joined the Laura Alonso Ballet Company in 2007. He later became a Principal Dancer with the National Ballet of Ecuador, performing in classical, neoclassical, and contemporary works.

He has trained with renowned artists like Laura Alonso and Frank Andersen, and taught at both the National Ballet of Ecuador and the College of Arts. In 2024, his piece Bird was featured at the San Antonio Dance Festival.

Lida Peterson – Jazz Instructor
Lida Peterson began dancing at age three in Tijuana, Mexico, training in ballet and jazz for 15 years. She later joined Danzamimos, the dance company at Universidad Tecnológico de Monterrey, and continued training with the Oblakov company after returning to San Diego.

Now a proud mother of three, Lida is passionate about teaching jazz and inspiring students to express themselves through movement and joy.
