
Teens (Ages 13-19)
Dancers at this level refine their technique, strength, and versatility across ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, and character dance. Classes emphasize artistry, musical interpretation, and performance quality. Students will also enhance their flexibility, stamina, and control, building confidence as they explore various styles and expand their dance vocabulary.

(ages 10+)
Jazz 2
This level is for dancers with prior jazz training who have mastered foundational skills and are ready to advance. Students will work on more complex movement patterns, turns, and leaps, while developing dynamic performance skills. Focus is placed on increased musicality, strength, and precision in movement.

Our most advanced jazz level is for experienced dancers looking to refine their technique and artistry. This class challenges students with intricate choreography, advanced turns, leaps, and floor work. Emphasis is placed on style execution, performance quality, and musical interpretation in a professional setting.

At this level, barre work becomes more challenging, emphasizing coordination of arms, head, and legs, along with increased muscular strength for adagio, petit, and grand allegro. Students refine complex turns from different positions (e.g., fifth and fourth) and develop the ability to execute more advanced jumps, including battus and grand allegro movements. They will enhance their musicality by performing steps to intricate rhythms. Variations and choreography are introduced to further develop artistry and performance quality.

Beginner Pointe Class Ballet 4
The Beginner Pointe class at Quenedit Ballet School focuses on building the strength and foundation necessary for safe and successful pointe work. Dancers primarily work at the barre to develop proper alignment, ankle strength, and foot articulation, ensuring a strong technical base.
As students progress, introductory center work is incorporated, allowing them to apply their skills in simple exercises while maintaining balance and control. This class is designed to instill confidence and discipline, preparing dancers for more advanced pointe training in the future.
